Job Context
- This is a job located in the factory premises at South Keraniganj, Dhaka. Candidates will undergo a probation period of three months which will be reviewed and a further three months may be extended if the candidate was found not satisfactory. However, after the completion of the initial 6 months probation period, the candidate will be notified about their progress, and confirmation/termination of the job will occur accordingly.
- (The probation period can be broadly defined as a trial period for newly recruited employees.)
Job Responsibilities
- As a Merchandiser, the incumbent shall take care of the following basic responsibilities:
- Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure proper execution of company plans.
- Creating and organizing promotions and advertising campaigns.
- Managing the educational materials for training employees.
- Managing layout plans of the warehousing and maintaining inventory of products.
- Gathering information on market trends and customers’ reactions to products.
- Analyzing sales figures – reporting growth, expansion, and change in markets.
